The management of The Elect School Ibadan organized her first maiden edition of her inter-house sport competition which took place on the 3rd of March, 2022 at the University of Ibadan Sport Complex. Speaking at the event, the chairman of the day, Bldr. Ganiyu Olalekan Jimoh represented by his wife, Barr. Celestina Jimoh commended the school for organizing the sporting competition. She said that inter-house sport competition gives the students the opportunity to participate in sport with the aim of reasoning, self-esteem, developing self-confidence and opportunity for leadership and team work beyond the classroom. He further encouraged the parents to prepare their children for sports as it is a great tool for economic development and growth.

The event was graced by the Commissioner for lands, housing and urban development, Hon. Segun Olayiwola, Vice-chairman of the day, Mr. Godwin Jamani, special guest of the day, Pastor & Pastor (Mrs.) Peter Oketola. The event also featured sporting activities ranging from race, filling the bottle, picking the ball, music presentation, march past among others. The event did not exclude the parents and members of staffs as they also participated in the games.

In her address, the school proprietress in person of Mrs. Bolanle Akin-Taiwo stated that sporting activities are essential for the physical and mental development of every child. Winners at the event were presented with medals and trophies with Lavender (Blue) house coming first, Buttercup (Yellow) came second, Marigold (Red) came third and Jasmine (Green) came forth.
