On Friday, 30th May 2025, The Elect School came alive with colour, creativity, and commerce during our much-anticipated Market Day. From 1:30 to 2:30 pm, the school premises transformed into a vibrant mini-market buzzing with eager sellers and excited buyers.
Our Grade 4 and 5 pupils took on the roles of market vendors, dressed in traditional attire to reflect the spirit of the local marketplace. With stalls stocked with various household items, snacks, crafts, and more, these young entrepreneurs negotiated prices, offered discounts, and calculated profits with remarkable confidence. It was a hands-on lesson in business ownership, customer service, profit & loss, and personal responsibility.

Parents, teachers, and pupils from other grades joined in as buyers, filling the air with laughter, banter, and enthusiastic support. At the heart of this initiative was a powerful lesson: entrepreneurship begins early when given the right platform.
We are incredibly proud of our learners for embracing this experience with joy and determination. To our supportive parents, thank you for showing up in grand style. Your presence helped create cherished memories and nurtured real-world skills.
At The Elect, we don’t just teach, we shape leaders, thinkers, and doers.
